The Indian Premier League, also known as IPL and Tata IPL for sponsorship reasons, is a men’s Twenty20 cricket league held annually in India. Founded by the BCCI in 2007, the league features ten state or city-based franchise teams. It is the most popular and richest cricket league in the world and its seasons usually take place between March and May.
On 13 September 2007, following India’s victory at the 2007 T20 World Cup, the BCCI announced a franchise based Twenty20 cricket competition known as the Indian Premier League. The inaugural season was scheduled to start in April 2008 and make new 8 IPL teams including all country Player In IPL team and use Indian district name to create ipl team name.

In the event of tied scores after both teams have faced their quota of overs, a bowl-out will determine the winner, even in the group stage.
In the group stage, teams will be ranked on the following criteria:
- Higher number of points
- If equal, higher number of wins
- If still equal, net run rate
- If still equal, lower bowling strike rate
- If still equal, result of head-to-head meeting.
